Sometimes mistakenly called Wenonan Falls, Wenonah Falls is a series of five cascading waterfalls just outside of Eagles Mere, PA in Shrewsbury Township.
Located less than 2.5 miles south of Eagles Mere Lake, the waterfalls is accessible by foot. Here’s exactly how to find Wenonah Falls in Eagles Mere.
Directions to Wenonah Falls in Eagles Mere
From PA-42 in Eagles Mere, proceed south on Laporte Avenue (State Route 3007). Continue down Laporte Avenue for 1.6 miles until you see White Deer Road on your left. This is the confusing part because the street sign says White Deer Road, but Google Maps says Mackey’s Run Road. If you start driving uphill, you have gone too far.
The intersection of Mackey’s Run Road and Laporte Avenue is the Wenonah Falls trailhead. Although you can drive along White Deer Road/Mackey’s Run Road for a bit, there is no public parking down there. Only private cabins. I recommend parking your car along Laporte Avenue.
It’s about a 30 minute walk down to the falls. The trail is rocky and hilly in spots, but anyone in moderately decent shape can make the walk.
When you get to the bottom of the mountain, the trees will clear and you’ll see some grass and bushes. Take the trail to the right here. Two minutes later you’ll turn right and follow the well-groomed trail the rest of the way down to the waterfalls. The trail follows the Mackey’s Run creek and The Outlet creek for the entire walk. If the trail splits, always stay right and follow the creek.
Please note that you will have to cross at least three streams on your walk to the waterfalls. One of these streams is 15 feet across. Most of the time, there are rocks that you can hop on to stay dry; however, this is not always the case, so come prepared.

Since I was a two year old baby, my family and I have been traveling to our cabin in Eagles Mere. Just down the road was Wenonah Falls—a hidden gem that not too many people know about.
After I posted a video on YouTube featuring the waterfalls in Eagles Mere, I got a lot of questions about how to find it. Rather than answering the same question over and over, I decided to write this blog post to share with everyone.
